Protea Hotel By Marriott George King George

The spacious standard room featured comfortable beds and lovely amenities. Breakfast was good with a good variety, and the hotel is conveniently located near nature and activities. The staff were warm, especially Vuyokazi in the restaurant.

The bathroom could use some updates.

Eggs and bacon served for breakfast. Huge standard room with a stunning view. Good and stunning setting, not far from the garden, the centre of George and the mountains.

The room was neat with smoke detectors for safety measures, and central heating, an electronic key card, and coffee/tea making equipment. We loved that they offered eggs and bacon, but we didn't have time and didn't try all of it. This hotel was located in a central area near to George Golf Club and surrounding restaurants and town.

The shower door didn't close right, but the kids loved the green space outside.

Location really close to restaurant and food, and George golf course. Plus, next to George Golf Club. Large bed, luxurious bathroom and central heating, a laptop-size safe, and multi-channel television in the room. Big, comfortable room with balcony overlooking golf course. Hotel was just off the main road and well sign-posted. Good selection of food for breakfast with special selection for children. Buffet-style evening meal was also good and reasonably priced for a hotel.

Staff were super friendly. Big rooms for the family too.

Just wish the bathroom could've had a bit more attention, was a bit neglected.

The room was spacious and the element of privacy was the most appealing set in a very scenic location.

the setup makes room service a little difficult if it rains. The hotel should consider getting a golf cart for the purpose of transporting the food to the rooms.

I was very disappointed with the service at breakfast-waited for Half an hour for tea(which has to be requested)Breakfast is not included in cost,which should be.-!But I would not recommend this hotel.

The location in a quiet area was stunning. The breakfast had good choice of great food and drinks. We loved this facility and would stay there again...

Modern bathroom design with a skylight and powerful shower. Gorgeous balcony overlooking the pool area.

Some rooms showed cleanliness issues-urine in the toilet and brown water from the taps. The buffet breakfast lacked variety, with poorly prepared flapjacks and unclean serving utensils.

The breakfast and supper was way too expensive to book!

the room had a brown tint in the water. But the suite was beautiful with a wonderful balcony, the staff made us feel welcomed and the location was perfect for golf lovers.
